1. Eligibility and account registration
To access certain features of the Platform, including enrolling in courses and purchasing plans, PDF access credentials, or individual packages, you must create a user account. You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration and to keep your account details updated. You are solely responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. You must notify us immediately at acmelanguagehub@gmail.com of any unauthorized use of your account.
2. Services and platform use
AcmeLearn provides online educational services, including IELTS preparation courses, practice tests, diagnostic tools, live Zoom lectures, AI-graded mock exams, and personalized tutor feedback. Subject to your compliance with these Terms, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to access and use the Platform for your personal, non-commercial educational purposes.
3. Subscriptions, fees, and payments
Pricing and Plans: Access to specific premium services, such as our Accelerator plan, is subject to the fees specified on the Platform. We reserve the right to modify our pricing or billing terms at any time.
Payment Processing: All payments made through the Platform are securely handled and verified by our third-party payment gateway, Paystack. By submitting payment details, you authorize us and Paystack to charge the applicable fees to your designated payment method.
Refund Policy: Except as otherwise explicitly stated on the Platform or required by applicable Nigerian law, all fees paid for subscriptions, courses, and coaching services are non-refundable.
4. Live lectures and conduct
Class Access: Premium plans include access to live small-group Zoom lectures. Your secure access link is unique to your profile and appears only when your registered class is about to begin. You are strictly prohibited from sharing, publishing, or distributing these live session links to any third party.
User Conduct: You agree to maintain respectful, professional, and non-disruptive behavior during all live classes, interactive sessions, and in correspondence with tutors or other students. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to live lectures or the entire Platform, without a refund, if you engage in harassment, abusive behavior, cheating, or any conduct that violates applicable local or international laws.
5. Intellectual property rights
Platform Content: All materials available on the Platform — including lessons, text, graphics, original practice questions, mock exam frameworks, software, videos, and tutor feedback — are the intellectual property of Acme Hub Limited or its licensors and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.
Trademarks: "AcmeLearn" and the AcmeLearn logos are trademarks of Acme Hub Limited. IELTS is a registered trademark of its respective owners. AcmeLearn is an independent platform and is not affiliated with, approved, or endorsed by the owners of the IELTS trademark.
6. Limitation of liability and disclaimer of warranties
As-Is Basis: The Platform and its educational services are provided on an "as-is" and "as-available" basis without warranties of any kind, either express or implied.
Score Disclaimer: While AcmeLearn provides professional training structures and targeted band feedback designed to help you succeed, we do not warrant or guarantee that you will achieve a specific score on your official IELTS examination. Individual outcomes depend on personal student effort, prior English proficiency, and exam day performance.
Technical Availability: We endeavor to keep the web application and cached learning pages accessible, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. We are not liable for any service disruptions caused by internet outages, cloud infrastructure failures, or third-party maintenance.
7. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Acme Hub Limited, its directors, employees, tutors, and agents from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, or expenses (including legal fees) arising out of your breach of these Terms, your misuse of the Platform, or your violation of any third-party rights.
8. Termination
We reserve the right, in our sole discretion, to restrict, suspend, or terminate your account and access to all or part of the Platform at any time, with or without notice, for any breach of these Terms or behavior that harms our community or business operations.
9. Governing law and dispute resolution
These Terms shall be governed by, construed, and enforced in accordance with the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. Any dispute arising out of or in connection with these Terms, including any question regarding their existence, validity, or termination, shall first be attempted to be resolved amicably through mutual consultation. If unresolved, the dispute shall be referred to and finally resolved by the courts of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Abuja, Nigeria.
10. Modifications to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time to reflect structural changes to our Platform, pricing scales, or regulatory updates. When revisions are material, we will provide a notice via the Platform or by email prior to the changes taking effect. Your continued use of the Platform after the posting of modifications signifies your acceptance of the updated Terms.
